641West Design Studio is an award winning, boutique design build firm that is deeply rooted in creativity, efficiency, pragmatism and technology. Early on in the design process we collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, consultants and our clients to design and build thoughtful places and objects to play, work, learn, live and enjoy. We have been in business since 2003 and have a combined design build expertise spanning 40+ years.. We approach design and building from a realistic and economical perspective maximizing our combined knowledge in Architecture, construction, cost and real estate development.
Marcel de Lange ( founder )
Born in Amsterdam and raised in the Netherlands, Marcel grew up in an environment where pretty much every square foot is designed and accounted for. When you grow up in relatively small and efficient spaces, it makes you appreciate how we can do more with less. One of the most important aspects in residential design is a well functioning and efficient floor plan. This allows for a residence to be more compact, more affordable and more sustainable to build. Marcel has a Master’s Degree in Architecture and Architectural Engineering from the Delft University of Technology. After moving to Colorado, Marcel worked for a number of Architecture firms in the Denver Metro area before starting his own firm focusing on the combination of Design + Building + Technology. He is a licensed contractor and also a (part time) Teaching Professor at the university of Colorado, Boulder.

Olga de Lange Klimek ( founder )
Born in Krakow and raised in Poland, Olga grew up in a dynamic, transformative environment full with historic design and rapid changing new world design and economics. After moving to the USA with her family she graduated from Architecture School and worked for a number of Architecture firms in the Boulder area. Having a keen understanding of Architectural design and practice, Olga expanded her interests in the build environment by becoming a licensed Realtor as well as a licensed contractor. At 641West design, she manages and envisions projects from early stages such as acquisition, feasibility, financing and concept design all the way till the final walk through and punch list. She has extensive experience in project management and integrated project deliveries.
